Candidate Bio's

 

Joseph Raimondi

"Hello my name is Joseph and I own two businesses in the Williston Area. I own Joseph Raimondi Farrier Service and JD Performance Horses. I have over 14 years of Farrier and horse training experience and I enjoy what I do to help and imporve the horse community. I feel that I would be an asset to the Williston Horseman's Association with the knowledge and experience I have under my belt. Thank you."

Kenneth Tatum

"Kenneth Tatum is a husband to a wife and a father of two girls who all have a strong interest in horses. Kenneth and his family have lived in Ocala since 2012, where they have a 10 acre farm with 6 horses. 
Kenneth works for BASF where he sells chemicals to concrete producers. Outside of horses and work, he enjoys helping others to include cooking for large groups. He cooks and donates turkeys to needy families at Thanksgiving and cooks and sells Boston butts to raise money for a lady with breast cancer
Kenneth is also handy with carpentry and helping with various things that need to be done around the farm, work and for others."

BobbieLynn Sears

 "I live in Morriston, FL and I've been a WHA member for the past 8 years.   I'm the past WHA Jr Horseman Leader from 2011,2012,2013,2015.   I'm an Equine Photographer & Graphic Arts Designer of Collage back ground.  I was Miss Florida Pinto Queen from 2003-05 my focus was to work with the youth.  I have a large back ground in instructing the youth in the horse world.  I successfully guided one of my student on to winning 2002-2004 Miss New England Pinto Sweetheart for a two year rein.  I was lead instructor and went on to become program director of handicap children and inner city children for 5 years at a year round residential camp to include 4 outside camps to come into learn my Horsemanship program.  My head count was 68 students a day.  I have volunteered my time at Williston Horseman Assoc. in the concession stand and drink tent during 4th of July and other large events at the Park.  This is one of the events the WHA jrs helped with in volunteering hours to WHA Assoc.  I have been on the WHA Pleasure / Ranch Horse Show committee for the past 5 years.  I truly feel I can be of many assets to WHA Board Of Directors."

Twyla Blumenberg 

"married 33 years Wife of Ret. 30 year Master Gunnery Sgt. of the U.S Marine Corp. .... mother of 2. Mother of Wounded Warrior U.S Marine. .... Grand mother of 6 grandchildren .   A lot of my heart is with the youth of today for they are the leaders of tomorrow.  I have been a member of WHA for the past 4 years.... past Board of Director... volunteered Running WHA Speed Series , helped with Ranch Horse Show Series. Was on clean up crew for concession stand .... worked concession stand food service .. did a lot of park maintenance, mowing, painting, etc where ever I was needed. .....Member of WHA Putting on the Bits Drill Team... My husband and I live on our farm in Dixie County. This gives us a beautiful drive to Williston Horseman's Park.  I feel I am and will continue to be an asset to Williston Horseman's Assoc."

Janet Rufolo

I would like to continue to be on WHA board for 2017-2018
  1. Road Sign change monthly.
  2. Mow
  3. Cut tree limbs, pick up fallen limbs, haul to burn pile.
  4. Pick up trash throughout park.
  5. Empty all trash cans, put out new ones including bathrooms
  6. Clean both bathrooms, replace toilet paper and paper towels
  7. Paint.
  8. Help in Candy's Kitchen in evert respect
  9. Rearrange and clean sheds
  10. Sorting and helped announcing, collect ground fees, help with panels, pick up hay, feed and water cows.
  11. Weed spraying.
  12. Obtained 15 sponsors.
  13. clean office and bird house.
  14. Had James Bond meet with Sandy for tree removal.
  15. Collected several items for Justin's auction.
  16. Placed signs for Ranch Rodeo.

Linda Woulf

"I have been a member of the association since 2000, as president, vice president, Secretary and board member.  I have seen this park grow and change and would like to continue to help with its growth.  My two son's grew up at this park and love it as I do, so much so that Jimmy is also running to stay on the board. Ps... he doesn't even ride horses!  I have volunteered on all committees, some more than once!  I am very proud to be the captain of our WHA Puttin on the Bitz, and respectfullypromote our park. I have shown western pleasure/Hunter, barrels, ranch horse, rope and currently mounted shooting.  Thanks for reading this, see ya at the park."  

Jimmy Woulf

"I am running for reelection. I have done pleasure show perp, Speed Show prep and rental prep in arena. I prep on WHA Sorting help put up sorting panels, help with cattle. Mowing the grounds, as well as maintenance .  I work a full time job as many of us do but with notice I'll help at the park."

Josey Sokevitz

"I live in Williston Florida , I wish to run again for a director position for WHA .  I've been a member of good standards since 2000.  I've held a directors position, I am past secretary for the association , volunteer many hours doing sign ups for different events, helped in concession, been a member and still am , a rider onWHA drill team . I've mowed, sprayed weeds, cleaned where it's been needed. Volunteer with rodeos, Ranch Horse, Shooters, Pleasure Shows, I wish to continue my volunteer work for WHA."
