Williston Horseman's Association Park Rules

Practice Times - You MUST be a WHA member to be on the grounds during practice times.

*Membership - A Family membership is for immediate family only, a couple or parent(s) and their children UNDER 18 yrs of age. Anyone under 18 yrs of age may not have an individual membership.

Monday; Use of the arena and lights are for the Drill Team only. WHA members may use other areas of the facility.

Tuesday; WHjA - use of arena/lights for Jr Horsemen and Jr Drill Team only. WHA members may use other areas of the facility.

Wednesday; Pleasure - Rail work only (western or english). Lights permitted. Lights out, gate locked when leaving.                                                                          

Thursday; Speed Practice - All barrels/poles/cones must be removed from arena when finished, ruts raked/drug, lights out, gate locked. Because of past abuse, this is the only day that speed practice is allowed. Continued abuse will result in loss of speed practice for a period of time to be determined by the board. **The barrels are not to be worked on the stakes.

Friday; Arena is closed for event prep. With exception of 4th Friday, for members only shooting practice.

Saturday; Arena is closed for scheduled events.

Sunday; Open Family riding - No lights, no speed events. Lock the gate.

Abuse of Privileges
1. First abuse will result in a verbal warning.
2. Second abuse will result in a $50 fine.
3. Third abuse will result in revoke of membership.
** Any member found giving a non-member the gate code will have their membership revoked.  

General Park Rules
*No Alcohol on grounds per City Ordinance
*All Dogs must be on leashed and under control of owner
*Negative Coggins required on all horses
*No horses tied to any fencing
*No horses tied or left in the trail course area
*No horses allowed in bleachers, pavilion, concessions or behind roping chutes areas.
*Any person exhibiting abusive treatment of animals or other individual or excessive use of Profanities on the grounds will be asked to leave    the grounds.
*We suggest protective head gear for all youths under 18 years of age.
*Heeled boots are required when riding for all.
*You are expected to clean up after yourself.
*All committees are responsible for trash removal and bathroom clean up at the end of each event.
* The jumps are not available for member use, they are for the show committees only. There is a paid schooling time the Friday before each Hunter Show after 12:30pm. There is a $5 grounds fee and a $5 schooling fee for each horse and all riders must wear a helmet and must be WHA members. This is the ONLY time schooling over the jumps is allowed.

Arena Rental - $300/day, use of lights is additional $50/night, if you do not have your own insurance $100 to cover insurance. There is a $300 clean up deposit that will be returned after your show clean up.

Hook Ups
day - electric $10 for day of show only

overnight  hookup - electric $15/water $10 per night

Stalls (not covered) are available by advanced reservations $10/day
